Daffodil Computers PLC (DCL), a publicly listed ICT company, has received the 12th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2024 in recognition of its commitment to transparency, ethical leadership, regulatory compliance, and responsible corporate governance.
The award was presented by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) following a comprehensive evaluation by independent technical committees and a jury board comprising national and international experts, including representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
This recognition reflects DCL’s strong governance framework, disciplined compliance practices, and continued adherence to corporate governance standards as a listed company. These practices have contributed to building long-term trust among its shareholders, regulators, clients, and institutional partners.
Founded in 1990 and listed on the stock exchange in 2002, Daffodil Computers PLC has played a pioneering role in Bangladesh’s ICT sector. The company introduced locally branded personal computers to the country and has since expanded its activities across technology, education, and digital services through the broader Daffodil ecosystem.
The formal award ceremony was held on 15 December 2025, bringing together senior representatives from regulatory bodies, ICSB, and other award-winning companies.
This achievement further strengthens Daffodil Computers PLC’s commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance and contributing responsibly to Bangladesh’s ICT sector.
