Daffodil Group has announced a major corporate commitment to allocate one-third of its net profit to public welfare and national development from 2026 onward, reinforcing its long-term commitment to responsible corporate leadership in Bangladesh.

The announcement was made during the Group’s annual Family Day at Daffodil Smart City, Savar, attended by more than 6,500 members of the Daffodil Family. The commitment was formalised through an official agreement, making public welfare an integral part of the Group’s future direction alongside business growth.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Group, said, “From 2026, one-third of the net profit of all Daffodil Group concerns will be dedicated to public welfare.” He described the initiative as “a nation building investment” rather than conventional charity.

The fund will support long-term initiatives in education and scholarships, youth leadership, job creation, healthcare, social protection, and innovation. The Group also announced plans to expand the district-based development model of Daffodil Foundation, initiated in 2000, across Bangladesh from 2026.

Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Group, clarified that the initiative will not affect employees’ salaries, benefits, or allowances.

The commitment reflects Daffodil Group’s vision of combining sustainable business growth with meaningful contributions to people and national development.
